Right now I am in Kerrville, Texas for the American Plains Artist Juried Show opening. I had 2 paintings juried into the show. We decided to walk around the town a little bit before awards were given and asked what time we should be back. The person we asked said there was a gallery we MUST see...so we went there. The gallery owner greeted us and saw my name tag and knew which 2 pieces in the APA show were mine, which was really amazing and gave us a tour of the gallery and asked me to send her a couple paintings to sell. So although I didn't win an award, I very randomly may have picked up a new gallery location! Pretty excited!
And to think I almost didn't go because of my Immune Deficiency. I was afraid of being around a lot of people while the flu season was still upon us.
