Rebecca Zook's "The Sweetest Rose" accepted into Breckenridge Fine Art Center's 24th Annual Juried Art Show Competition

"The Sweetest Rose" has been accepted into Breckenridge Fine Art Center's 24th Annual Juried Art Show Competition in Breckenridge, Texas.

The title comes from a line in the song "The Yellow Rose of Texas" which was an often requested song from my Dad's road trip repertoire during my childhood. I still know all the words. These are old world cottage roses, though a botanist would likely chastise me since these are not actually Rosa×harisonii…the rose considered the yellow rose of Texas.
